Music Supervisor + Director of Marketing

Melissa Vickerman loves to perform; on stage, at parties, in her office, driving her car (we don’t condone this), perhaps even in the shower (she won’t say). At the age of five, she petitioned her Grandfather’s construction company to build her a stage “To perform!!” Her parents have yet to recover… What all of this ‘extroversion’ revealed was a deep love for music of all shapes and sizes (sadly, she’s still averse to death metal… C’est La Vie).

Mel attended, and graduated from, Gustavus Adolphus College, with degrees in both Communication Studies and Music/Vocal Performance. She spent her final college semester abroad, studying (amongst other activities…) in Spain; living in Madrid. From this was born her love of travel; New Zealand, Australia, Costa Rica, Morocco and many of our 50 states have felt the well worn soles of her “I’m a world traveler!” footwear.

At inthegroovemusic, Melissa brings all of her passions to the table; music, family, travel, performance, people… Creating and sharing an unbridled enthusiasm for promoting and managing music for advertising, film, and television. She is bright, articulate, very funny, and always excited about the challenges each new project offers.

Truly, all the world is her stage…
