Coming out of Tokyo, Japan, The Thrill is a 16 piece Jazz, Funk, and Rock infused force to be reckoned with. Big Beats, Big Horns, unparalleled jazz infusion skills. They turn up the funk on tracks like “The New Odyssey” …even adding a little Beck flavor. They go from quirk with a whistle, to full blown Mark Ronson, and getting into a little soul appeal in tracks like Blind Kiss. They’re one of the most talented and innovative jazz groups we’ve heard and we’re glad they’ve decided to come WEST.

Increasing their popularity and visibility in Japan, The Thrill created the soundtrack for the Japanese Anime Film, Blue Submarine No. 6. Much of the film’s acclaim is credited to the music. Fans say the film may be mediocre… but the soundtrack is beyond excellent creating an arty and interesting visual.
